WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF SARISIN'S

This site is dedicated to the SOUTH RUSSIAN OVCHARKA, an ancient sheep herding and guarding breed.
In 1988 Yerosha came into our lives. She was our first SRO and we fell in love with this breed. We have owned, shown, trained and bred SROs since then.
In the past decades we have learned that honest and upright breed information about the SROs is hard to find but necessary because the breed is fairly unknown to most people. On this site you find information regarding various aspects of owning a South Russian Ovcharka and I hope to contribute to a better understanding of these dogs.

Our old website southrussianovcharka.com is still available but I can't update it. The program I used to create it is too old and does not excist anymore :-)
